Team:

CEO – Frank Glaser

Frank Glaser is the CEO and founder of Angulus, LLC. He is currently an M.D. / M.B.A. candidate at Tulane Medical School and Columbia Business School.  Prior to medical school, Frank worked as a management consultant for ClearView Health Partners. Frank received his bachelors from Dartmouth College.

CTO – Viktor Gamarnik

Viktor is the technical product development lead of Angulus, LLC. Viktor Gamarnik is currently pursuing an M.D. / Ph.D. at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. During his Ph.D. Viktor built expertise in the development of accelerometer-based medical devices. Viktor earned his bachelors from Columbia University.

COO – Quang Nguyen

Quang Nguyen is currently an M.B.A. candidate at Columbia Business School. Prior to business school, Quang was a management consultant for L.E.K. Consulting, advising biopharmaceutical and medical technology clients. Quang received his bachelors from the University of California, Berkeley.

Director of Clinical Trials – Elizabeth Cordell

Elisabeth Cordell is currently an advisor to Angulus on all FDA/IRB and clinical trial matters. Elisabeth previously served as a senior coordinator for Mt. Sinai’s Clinical Research & Clinical Practice group specializing in trial design and approval. Elisabeth earned her bachelors from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Board of Advisors:

Dr. Daniel Brodie, MD

Dr. Brodie is the Director of the Medical ICUs and the Medical Critical Care Service at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He is also the Co-Director of the Center for Acute Respiratory Failure and the Director of the Medical ECMO Program. Dr. Brodie is a leader and innovator in the field of adult ECMO and runs “one of the largest ECMO programs in the world for adult respiratory failure”.

Dr. Laurence Blumberg, MD

Dr. Blumberg Laurence has extensive experience in the starting, financing, operating and investing in a full range of life sciences companies from medical devices, to biopharmaceuticals. He currently serves as a Senior Vice President at Kadmon Corporation and is responsible for leading cross-functional and cross-regional product development activities . Prior to Kadmon, he co-founded and served on the board of Syntonix Pharmaceuticals over 11 yrs through its sale to Biogen-Idec in 2007.

Dr. Dan Karlin, MD

Dr. Karlin is a board certified academic psychiatrist and Assistant Professor at Tufts Medical Center. He has invented two medical devices and is an advisor to medical technology related startups . His research involves novel strategies in neuropharmaceutical development and cognition in clinical medicine; specifically assessing decision-making strategies used by medical professionals and the ways in which tools impact these strategies and the consequent decisions.
